Goüin Hotel Museum - Cultural Tours
The Hôtel Goüin Museum is a must-see in Tours; what to see, what to do:
invites you to discover a panorama of regional history , from prehistory to the Age of Enlightenment. This museum, located in a historic setting, presents a rich collection of 18th-century objects, notably physics equipment from the Château de Chenonceau and experimented with by Jean-Jacques Rousseau .
A great opportunity to delve into the past while exploring an iconic private mansion in the region.
The Hôtel Goüin is open year-round, except for December 25th and January 1st. Opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Visitors can explore independently, with a brochure, or take a free guided tour (55 minutes). Groups must book in advance.
Hours of operation :
From Wednesday to Sunday, from 2pm to 6pm or 7pm depending on the temporary exhibitions.

Prices:
Free or paid entry depending on the exhibition. Prices for paid exhibitions:
- Full price €3
- Reduced price €2 for ages 7 to 18, students, disabled persons and their companions, groups (more than 15 people), holders of the large family card and education pass.
- Free* *Children under 7, beneficiaries of minimum social benefits, job seekers, journalists, ICOM, Ministry of Culture, tour guides, middle school students from Indre-et-Loire, department employees and their beneficiaries.
