Description
Located on the first floor of the medieval section of the castle, it comprises:
- a round bedroom in the 14th-century tower, with a queen-size bed, herringbone beams, and a view of the moat;
- a large living room with medieval architecture and two single beds: a window overlooking the park, a Gothic door lintel, an imposing colonnaded fireplace, exposed beams, and period furniture;
- a private bathroom (shower) and toilet.
Price: €180 for 2 people. €40 per extra bed (maximum 2 beds).
Breakfast: €10 per adult and €5 per child under 12.
A small lounge is available for guests to relax, read, etc.
For meals: charming restaurants within a 15-kilometer radius.
It is also possible to make many visits in the vicinity of Colombières: landing beaches (museums of St Laurent and Vierville, Longues battery), tapestry of Queen Mathilde in Bayeux and Peace Museum-Memorial in Caen.

Colombières To enter this imposing late 14th-century building, visitors must cross the single footbridge that spans its still-water-filled moat.
Nestled in a peaceful and romantic park, bordering the marshes of Isigny Bay, this enchanting place, which has retained its rustic charm, belies its former role as a defensive fortress: indeed, "La Vigie des Marais" (The Watchtower of the Marshes), as it was once known, controlled access to the Bessin region via the Aure marshes.
From generation to generation, the owners have lovingly cared for this family home. Count Etienne de Maupeou will be delighted to welcome you. Rooms are available at the château from April 1st to October 30th.
