Bellefond Castle

Bellefond Castle

Lagraulière

Château de Bellefond is a superb and imposing stone castle dating back to the 13th century.

You enter through a carriage gate, just as in the Middle Ages.

Nestled in the heart of the countryside, within its 12-hectare park and one kilometer from the small town of Lagraulière, the fortified Château de Bellefond is located in the Corrèze department, in the Limousin region of south-central France, five hours from Paris and 30 minutes from Brive-la-Gaillarde, famous for its large Saturday morning market.
A spectacular private lake lies behind the castle and is easily accessible. Fishing is available for our guests.
Five fully renovated guest rooms in the castle offer you the utmost comfort.
The former outbuildings adjacent to the castle have been beautifully renovated to provide three fully equipped self-catering apartments, each with a kitchen and laundry facilities, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, linens, dishes, utensils, television, and Wi-Fi. The cottages at Château de Bellefond are rented by the week only, from Saturday afternoon to Saturday morning, and can be rented separately or in combination with other cottages or with the château itself.
A Mediterranean garden, complete with an ancient olive tree and a round table, surrounds the immediate grounds of the château. Lavender, hydrangeas, and pink rhododendrons line the front of the château, and mature trees and shrubs offer a spectacular view. Paths have been opened through the woods, and public roads lead to the nearby town of Tronc.
