The Château and Gardens of Rivau invite you on a magical stroll through their 12 gardens, each inspired by the wondrous tales and legends that have permeated the history of literature. From the Lavender Knotted Parterre to the Secret Garden , each space unveils a unique botanical world, like a tribute to stories embedded in the collective imagination, such as Gargantua's Vegetable Garden or the Enchanted Forest .

The gardens are a veritable explosion of color and fragrance throughout the seasons: the striking irises in May, the enchanting old roses in June, the intoxicating scent of sweet peas in July, and the spectacular display of giant vegetables in September. In addition to the beauty of its gardens, the château offers an enriching experience with a self-guided tour that allows visitors to explore at their own pace, enhanced by multilingual signage.

The restaurant "La Table des Fées" offers an enchanting culinary experience, where delicious dishes await you. For a complete experience, picnic baskets are available for groups upon reservation.

The gardens, open from April 1st to November 15th, are accessible from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (until 7:00 PM in July and August) for individual visitors, families, and groups by appointment. The site also offers reduced rates for children, students, job seekers, and people with disabilities.
