Cons la Grandville Castle
The castle was built in 1572 by Martin de Custine on the site of a former 12th-century fortified castle. Damaged during the Thirty Years' War, it was partially remodeled in the 18th century. A magnificent example of Renaissance architecture in Lorraine. Near the castle, the Priory of Cons-la-Grandville and the 12th-century Romanesque crypt, adorned with painted decorations depicting the childhood of Christ and the Passion, form a remarkable architectural complex.
All the monuments within the Cons-la-Grandville Historic Site are listed as Historic Monuments.
The Château de Cons-la-Grandville is located on the Historic Route of the Marches of Lorraine.
