Located south of the castle, the Priory of Cons-La-Grandville invites you to discover a unique historical site, founded by the first lord of Cons, Dudon, and his wife Hadwige. This Benedictine priory, rebuilt in the 1760s by the renowned architect Laurent Benoît Dewez, offers a glimpse into the history and architecture of the 18th century.

<p>This <strong>remarkable group of buildings</strong> bears witness to the history of the <strong>Priory of Saint-Michel</strong> , formerly attached to the <strong>Benedictine Abbey of Saint-Hubert</strong> in the Ardennes. Founded in the <strong>12th century</strong> by <strong>Dudon de Cons</strong> and his wife <strong>Hadwige de Chiny</strong> , the priory succeeded an old castle, the memory of which it still preserves today.</p><p> <strong>Benedictine monks</strong> occupied the site until the <strong>mid-18th century</strong> , leaving behind a striking spiritual and architectural legacy, visible through the structures still standing.</p>
