Lagrange Castle is undergoing renovations to give it a makeover! Given the scale and complexity of the project, we will not be able to open the castle for individual visits this year. However, group bookings are possible (minimum 20 people), by reservation only.

The Château de la Grange invites you to discover its rich heritage through its various period rooms. Among the highlights of the visit, you will find:
- The Red Salon , a room full of charm and elegance.
- The Dining Room , equipped with a faience stove made in La Grange around 1780 for the Marquis de Fouquet , Lieutenant General of the King in the Metz region.
- The Grand Staircase , an imposing architectural feature of the castle.
- The Kitchen , a remnant of the castle destroyed during the Thirty Years' War .
- The Grand Blue Salon , where you can appreciate the period decor and atmosphere.
- The Empire Room , which houses a magnificent bathroom with a Pauline Borghese marble bathtub.
Every year, during Heritage Days , the castle offers an exceptional event that brings to life the characters who lived at La Grange throughout the centuries. A unique immersive and historical experience!
The castle and garden are open all year round, upon request, for groups of 20 people or more:
- Castle (classic guided tour, 1.5 hours) and garden (self-guided tour with maps provided): €10 per person
- Garden (guided tour, 1 hour): €7/person
- Guided castle + guided garden tour: €15/person
- Christmas at the castle (November/December - 1.5 hours): Christmas storytelling or talk in the vaulted kitchen. Spritz and mulled wine tasting. €12 per person. Subject to storyteller availability. Minimum 20 people. For smaller groups, a flat fee of €200 applies.

Château de la Grange
Thionville La Grange is a classic château, built in the first third of the 18th century on the ruins of a feudal fortress destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. In 1750, it was acquired by the Marquis de Fouquet, a distant nephew of the famous Superintendent of Finances under Louis XIV.
La Grange still belongs to the Fouquet descendants, despite the many tragedies the country has endured. Beautiful 18th-century furnishings and an exceptional collection of European and Asian paintings, tapestries, and ceramics all contribute to making a visit to La Grange a truly enjoyable experience. The fact that the château is permanently inhabited by its owners adds a warmth that is generally lacking in "castle-museums." La Grange is part of the Route des Marches de Lorraine (Lorraine Marches Route).
