OUR USAGE AND MAINTENANCE TIPS

To accelerate oxidation, spray the Corten steel with a mixture of 1/3 hydrochloric acid and 2/3 water. Leave for 48 hours, then rinse with clean water. You can repeat this process if necessary. Once the desired level of oxidation is reached, we recommend applying a rust inhibitor such as Owatrol's Rustol to seal the oxidation. Be careful of rust drips during the oxidation phase, as they can damage the surface on which the trays are placed (tiles, wooden decking, etc.).
