In accordance witharticle 5.4 of our Special Terms and Conditions for Reservations, each Service Provider is required to pay, for each of its accounts, an annual subscription at a monthly rate, commissions on its reservations, ancillary costs and management fees, invoiced according to the offer subscribed to.
All these amounts and rates are exclusive of tax (HT).
In the event of a change to an offer made by the Service Provider, the new price conditions of the selected offer are applied from the 1st day of the month following the month in which the change was made.

The subscription is billed monthly, paid by direct debit or credit card in accordance with article 5.4 of the Special Conditions applicable to Reservations.
Subscriptions are available to any Seller established in the European Union.

The commission is calculated directly on the amount of each reservation (VAT included).
It is invoiced automatically before payment, when you transfer the amount of your “Payable” sales to your Wallet (for all sales concerned).
An additional 4% commission is applied to the price of the reservation for suppliers based outside the European Union.
The amount of commissions and fees is shown on the same invoice as that of the Subscription referred to inArticle 2 of our Terms and Conditions of Sale for Members and paid by debit from your Wallet or under the same conditions as the Subscription.
In the event of cancellation of a reservation following :
– failure of the Vendor to confirm the availability of the Product, or
– in the event of cancellation of the said reservation by the Service Provider after confirmation, in whatever manner and for whatever reason, the Seller will be invoiced, under the conditions referred to in the last paragraph of Article 6 “Commission and Subscription Amounts” of the CPVAD, double the Commission (i.e. including the commission on the product Price, shipping costs and administration costs) that Chateaux-France should have received as a result of this order.
3 – Payment of reservations and Chateaux-France commission
3.1 – Payment collection
Chateaux-France generally collects the total price of a booking, unless otherwise indicated.
3.2 – Valid payment method
In order to receive a Payment, the Service Provider must have a valid Payment Method linked to his/her Chateaux-France account.
When adding a Payment Method to its account, the Service Provider may be asked to provide additional information (name, ID, tax identification number, billing address and information about its financial instrument) either to Chateaux-France or to its third-party payment service provider(s).
Depending on the Payment Method selected, additional information may be required, such as: home address, name on account, account type, routing number, account number, e-mail address, payment currency, identification number and account information associated with a particular payment processor.
The requested information must be provided in order for an Instalment Plan to be valid.
The information required by Chateaux-France for a valid Payment Method may change, and Chateaux-France may request additional information at any time;
Failure to provide the requested information may result in the temporary withholding, suspension or cancellation of any Payment until the information is provided and, if necessary, validated.
3.3 – Reservation payment deadline
Unless the Provider is covered by Article 3.4 (in which case this Article applies), subject to and depending on the successful receipt of the corresponding payments from the Customer, Chateaux-France will initiate Payments to the chosen Payment Method:
– for accommodation services, before the end of the working day following the Customer’s scheduled arrival date;
– for other Services and Experiences, before the end of the working day following the start of the Service or Experience;
– for all Other Services, including but not limited to Services or Photography Experiences, at the time specified on the Chateaux-France Platform.
For reservations of twenty-eight (28) nights or more, Chateaux-France will generally make the first payment before the end of the business day following the Clent’s scheduled arrival date, and will make subsequent payments, monthly, after the initial payment, for the duration of the reservation.
3.4 – Extended payment terms
For Service Providers who are in breach of our Terms and Conditions and Contractual Package, or if Chateaux-France deems it reasonably necessary to protect itself, its Members or third parties, subject to and conditional upon receipt of the associated payments from the Customer, Chateaux-France will initiate Payments to the Payment Method chosen by the Service Provider by the end of the business day following the Customer’s scheduled departure date.
If the reservation is for twenty-eight (28) nights or more, Chateaux-France will generally make the first and second Payments together, 28 days after the Traveler’s scheduled arrival date, and will make the following Payments, on a monthly basis, for the duration of the reservation.
3.5 – Payment schedule
Your payment schedule will be displayed in your income dashboard.
3.6 Payment
The payment for a reservation corresponds to the total Price less applicable fees and commissions such as Chateaux-France service charges and applicable taxes, as well as any amount that the Provider agrees to allocate to a co-Provider and/or agent (such as a property operator or rental management company).
In the event of cancellation of a confirmed reservation, Chateaux-France will pay the amount due (if any) in accordance with the applicable Cancellation Terms and Conditions.
3.7 Payment restrictions
Chateaux-France may temporarily hold, suspend or cancel any Payment in order to prevent illegal activity or fraud, to assess risk, to ensure security or to carry out an investigation; or if we are unable to verify the identity, or that of the representative(s) or beneficial owner(s) of the Provider, or to obtain or verify the requested information. In addition, Chateaux-France may temporarily put on hold, suspend or delay the initiation or processing of any Payment due to the Service Provider under the Conditions as a result of a high volume of cancellations of bookings or modifications arising from a Force Majeure Event.
5 – Amount due by the Service Provider in the event of a booking cancellation
The commission is due even following cancellation of the reservation for any cause outside Chateaux-France’s control, including but not limited to :
In the event of cancellation of a reservation by the Service Provider, in whatever manner, the Seller will be invoiced double the Commission (i.e. including management fees) that Chateaux-France should have received as a result of this reservation.
In this case, the amount of the commission will be calculated on the day of cancellation.
In accordance witharticle 4 of the CPVAD, each Seller is liable, for each of its accounts, for an annual subscription at a monthly cost, commissions on its sales and management fees, invoiced according to the offer subscribed to.
All these amounts and rates are exclusive of tax (HT).

Commission variable according to category, deducted directly from your sales (including VAT and excluding shipping costs if not personalized) before payment.
For each category, an additional 4% commission is applied to the product price for sellers based outside the European Union.
The amount of the commission deducted by Chateaux-France from the amount paid by the Buyer for shipping costs is fixed, according to the delivery method, as follows:
– Shipment via “Prepaid” delivery method.
Commission model: No commission is charged by Chateaux-France.
– Shipment via “Normal”, “Tracked” and “Registered” delivery methods
Commission model: Chateaux-France collects the amount paid by the Buyer for shipping costs and pays the Seller a contribution, the amount of which is determined according to the shipping method and product category, as described in the “How shipping costs are calculated” section of the online Help.
– Shipment via the Seller’s own shipping methods (“Customized shipping”)
Commission model: The commission charged by Chateaux-France on the amount paid by the Buyer for shipping costs is equal to the variable commission on the Price of the Product in question charged by Chateaux-France (see above).

In the event of cancellation of an order following :
– failure of the Vendor to confirm the availability of the Product, or
– in the event of cancellation of the said order by the Seller after confirmation of the availability of the Product, in whatever manner, the Seller will be invoiced, under the conditions referred to in the last paragraph of article 4.3 “Commission and Subscription Amounts” of the CPVAD, double the Commission (i.e. including the commission on the Product’s Price, shipping costs and administration costs) that Chateaux-France should have received as a result of the said order.
In consideration of the “Accelerated Payment” option referred to in article 4.1.2 of the CPVAD, an additional 1.00% commission is applied to the price of the product for sales which are returned to the Seller in application of the Accelerated Payment option.
Pursuant to article 6.4 of the CPVAD, any sums that Chateaux-France may be required to pay as a result of the Seller’s failure to comply with its obligations under the Extended Producer Responsibility policy or its failure to communicate its IDU may be invoiced or deducted directly from the Seller. This invoicing or deduction will take place either in the form of regularization, or directly at the time of compensation. Informations relating to this invoicing will be accessible directly from the seller’s space.
Obligation: Obligations relating to the prevention and management of waste from certain product categories, in line with Extended Producer Responsibility.
Amount rebilled: The full amount of eco-contributions due by Chateaux-France to approved eco-organizations for products sold by the Seller in accordance with the eco-organizations’ collection schedules. Administration fees in the case of direct debit at the time of acceptance of the sale.
Obligations relating to the return, free of charge, of used products disposed of by the end user in accordance with Extended Producer Responsibility. All costs arising from a Buyer’s request to take back a used product not borne by the Seller.
Processing fee (excl. VAT): €5.00 excl. VAT + 10% of the total amount excl. VAT of the costs incurred by a Buyer requesting the return of a used product not covered by the Seller.
