Daughter of the Marquis de La Rivi\u00e8re and Louise-C\u00e9leste <strong>de La Rivi\u00e8re de Ploeuc<\/strong> , lady-in-waiting to Madame Ad\u00e9la\u00efde, she married Roch-Gilbert, Marquis de <strong>La Fayette<\/strong> , on May 22, 1754. They were the parents of <strong>General Marquis de La Fayette<\/strong> , their only son, born at the Ch\u00e2teau de Chavagnac in Haute-Loire on September 6, 1757, and who died in Paris, on the rue d&#39;Anjou, on May 20, 1834. Your hosts today in Vollore, Michel and Genevi\u00e8ve <strong>Aubert La Fayette<\/strong> , are direct descendants in the 6th generation, through Georges-Washington de La Fayette, the General&#39;s only son.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"room-intro-text\"> Louis XV period furniture: Commode signed \u201cMacret\u201d, bedside tables, cabriolet armchairs, writing table, English engraving, portrait of Louis XV as a child after Rigaud, chairs, mirror.
