It boasts over 400 varieties of old and modern roses , blooming from June to September, with peak flowering around mid-June. Its design is inspired by medieval architecture, with geometric flowerbeds , pergolas reminiscent of castle towers, and cross-shaped basins evoking the heraldic themes of the period. This rose garden is lovingly tended throughout the week by a dedicated gardener.

A unique fern collection

Created in 2007, this collection showcases a plant often overlooked by the general public. These include tree ferns , varieties with silvery leaves , as well as rare species with striking shapes and colors.

An English-style wooded park

From the 17th century onwards, when the fortress became a family residence, a formal French garden was laid out. It was transformed in the 18th century into an English landscape park , following the fashion of the time.
