This house offers breathtaking views of the gardens, redesigned as <strong data-start=\"1227\" data-end=\"1253\">formal French gardens<\/strong> in 1996. These gardens were reimagined following the discovery of the foundations of the original cloister during archaeological excavations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1381\" data-end=\"1648\"> One of the abbey&#39;s main attractions is the <strong data-start=\"1434\" data-end=\"1455\">chapter house<\/strong> , a richly ornamented 12th-century Gothic space.
