Nestled within its dry moat (the deepest in Europe, measuring 18 meters deep and 13 meters wide), it is a true architectural gem. Built from tufa extracted from the moat, it combines strength and refinement with its imposing towers and Renaissance elements, where the tufa is transformed into stone lacework.<\/p>\n

Your visit begins with an exploration of the exterior areas, starting from the main courtyard. There you will discover the Great Gallery<\/strong> , the Clock Tower<\/strong> , and the Dovecote<\/strong> , which houses more than 3700 nesting boxes!<\/p>\n

The Underground<\/strong> , the largest underground fortress in Europe, opens its doors to you. More than a kilometer of trails awaits you, allowing you to discover the evolution of the castle, from the dwelling of the lords of Br\u00e9z\u00e9 to the corridors of time, passing through the ramparts and the drawbridge.<\/p>\n

Inside the castle, the tour continues with iconic rooms such as the Grand Gallery<\/strong> , once used for receptions and now dedicated to Henri Evrard de Dreux-Br\u00e9z\u00e9. You will also discover Richelieu's Room<\/strong> , dating from the 16th century and restored in the 19th century, which retains the austere style of its illustrious occupant.<\/p>\n

The apartments of Pierre de Dreux-Br\u00e9z\u00e9<\/strong> , Bishop of Moulins, will reveal the Bishop's Room<\/strong> as well as the sumptuous office<\/strong> , for a total immersion in the history and elegance of the castle.<\/p>\n

The Ch\u00e2teau de Br\u00e9z\u00e9<\/strong> is open every day from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., except for the period from January 1st to 18th and the dates of December 24th and 31st.<\/p>\n
