She called Cheverny an &quot;enchanted palace.&quot; This drawing room, decorated on commission by the Marquise de Montglas, houses some of the ch\u00e2teau&#39;s finest paintings.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1563\" data-end=\"1836\"> <strong data-start=\"1563\" data-end=\"1584\">The King&#39;s Chamber<\/strong><br data-start=\"1584\" data-end=\"1587\" \/> One of the most lavishly decorated rooms in the castle, with ceilings and wainscoting adorned with mythological legends. Be sure to admire the 17th-century tapestries, woven by the Paris workshops, that grace this room.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1838\" data-end=\"2075\"> <strong data-start=\"1838\" data-end=\"1858\">The Yellow Room<\/strong><br data-start=\"1858\" data-end=\"1861\" \/> Part of the private apartments in the west wing, opened to the public in 1985, this room offers a glimpse into the private life of the castle.
